Mrs. Yejin Shin was a Visiting Fellow at ISDP. Her focus centered upon health care policy  of South Korea which minimizes health inequality during childhood. Prior to her current position, Mrs. Shin was assistant director of the Ministry of Health and Welfare of South Korea from December 2008 until August 2020.

Mrs. Shin holds a master’s degree in public health policy from Seoul National University in South Korea and has been a Visiting Researcher at the University of California Los Angeles, UCLA. Her areas of interest are public health care policies with a focus on children and adolescents, as well as public response measures to infectious diseases.
