New episode of Japanpodden on Japan, the OECD, and the economy

February 7, 2024: This episode of Japanpodden focuses on Japan, the OECD, and the economy.

Patrik Ström, director of the Japan Institute, hopes that more people will become aware of Japan. The editors review the to-do list for Japan compiled by the OECD. Among other things, the OECD points out that Japanese people spend far too long in hospitals and that the VAT rate of ten percent needs to be raised substantially if the economy is to survive.

Japanpodden is a Swedish-language podcast about everything related to Japan. The editors are Göran Edman, Hans Rhodiner, Lars Vargö, and Jon Thunqvist.
